Where the mountains meet the sea, the small town of Carpinteria offers calm waters and a premiere location for youth to learn beach safety and competition in the Carpinteria Junior Lifeguard Program. Our Junior Lifeguard program teaches teamwork, respect for the ocean and beaches and includes daily physical fitness. We are an inclusive program and encourage all to tryout.
Registration will say full, but the waitlist is open. We will be double-checking past participation or completion of the tryouts. In April, we’ll begin moving participants from the waitlist onto the official roster. At that time, invoices will be emailed, and payment must be made within 7 days to secure a spot. If payment is not received by the deadline, the participant will be placed back on the waitlist and risks losing their spot in the program.
