Swim Lesson Refund, Transfer & Attendance

**Private Lesson Scheduling**
Private lesson times may be adjusted to minimize gaps within the instructor’s schedule. Schedule changes may occur with as little as 24 hours’ notice. Participants will be notified using the contact information on file.

**Refund Requests**
All refund requests must be submitted in writing by email to or directly to the Aquatics Coordinators.

**Canceled Classes**
If a class is canceled by the City, a full refund will be issued.

**Refund Schedule**
• 90% refund if requested 14 or more days before the program start date
• 50% refund if requested less than 14 days before the program start date
• No refunds will be issued once the program has begun

**Medical Emergencies**
• A doctor’s note may be required
• If a participant is unable to transfer into another available session, a 90% refund may be issued

**Transfers**
Transfers to another session may be requested up to 3 days before the original session start date and are subject to availability.

**Missed Classes**
No refunds, make-up classes, or credits will be issued for missed classes.

**Refund Processing & Fees**
• Refunds are issued back to the original form of payment whenever possible
• Cash payments are refunded by check and may take 4–6 weeks to process
• Check refunds are subject to a $5 processing fee
• Credit card processing fees (4%) are non-refundable and credit card refunds include a $0.01 processing fee
• Credits left on household accounts are not subject to processing fees
